Abstract

     It is well known fact that Educationsystemhas ability to change the person individually as well as it can change the whole society and state, its build the future of a nation, Islam also tells about the objectives of education “To know Allah”.To achieve this objectives constitution of Islamic republic of Pakistan says Islamic studies and Quranic studies will be taught as compulsory subject in the education system of Pakistan. This is also mandatory for all Public and private sector Universities at bachelor level,but this subject is not taken seriously and is neither is it innovativenor usually has nothing to do with practical life.This study examines problems and challenges faced by education system,what mechanism should be introduced which can change the behavior of teachers and studentsconcerning Islamic studies. This research suggests some essential ways by which Islamic Studies compulsory subject could be used to inculcate the basic and Islamic ethical values in our society.The study will answer the questions that what are the society-based activities should be designed against Islamic studies curriculum. This study is only limited to Public and private sector Universities.
