There are four basic sources of Islam which are called Adilla Sharia. Among these sources the Hadith has the second rank. The Muhaditheen have carefully edited and preserved the Hadiths and prepared the collections. Imam Bukhari’s book has very high place in these collections. The Ummah has declared his book to be the most correct book after the Qur’an. The ancient and moderate scholars have accepted it as the Main source of Islam. But unfortunately, the Mutazila and Khawarij denied the Hadiths and created a doubts in the minds of the people in this regards. After them the modernists of Egypt and India accepted their views and inflicted rational blows on the Hadiths. As a result the Hadiths of Sahih Bukhari, the second source of Islam were also made suspicious in the eyes of the people. One of these hadiths namely Kazibat-e-Salasa has been rejected by Ghulam Ahmad Pervez in his book Maqam-e-Hadith because it is against the sense and wisdom. Because in this Hadith a lie is attributed towards a prophet. In this article, we will examine the views of Ghulam Ahmad Pervez and other Islamic scholars and try to prove that has misinterpreted the Hadith Kazibat-e-Salasa (کذباتِ ثلاثہ). Some modernists reject this Hadith because of the word “KIZB” however we will quantitatively analyze the view of Ghulam Ahmad Pervez in the light of classical and contemporary scholars existing in the relevant literature.
