An un-predictable and miraculous speed in the field of Science and Technology in the second half of the last century and in the beginning of current century has changed almost all fields in the world which gave birth of an artificial market in which impossible things have become possible. Halal food market is one of them which is the result of materialism, monopoly in the market and having influence over the others. Eatable articles are the needs of all human beings but Muslims are addressed to have only pure and Halal eatables. In the artificial market especially eatables coming from non-Muslim’s countries are always under an observation as regard purity and impurity point of views. This importance of purity in the life style of a Muslim becomes clear as all his deeds including rituals and contracts, are of no value if he uses impure things. Also learning process about Islamic position has become confined in the cover of fatwa as people always seek Islamic view by asking a mufti to pass on a religious verdict over newer emerging issue and do not bother to search the same religious position. So, the religious scholars, who pass on a fatwa, also have grip over shariah perspective and not on the generating process of eatables, packing thereof, storing and freezing them and especially the ingredients of eatables. In such situation how a mufti should pass on a religious verdict or issue a fatwa, for this purpose there are some principles which work as lens for a mufti to see into these issues from shariah perspective and this article discusses such principles which a mufti should adopt when passing fatwa regarding halal food.
