The role of scholars in the teaching and promotion of Islam in the Indian subcontinent is very clear and prominent. In every age there have been religious scholars who have kept the people attached to their religion and its foundations and beliefs. After the establishment of Pakistan, Muslim scholars played an important role in the dissemination and propagation of Islamic teachings. For this purpose, the scholars promoted religious literature and wrote many books for the guidance of the general public. Brahui scholars and writers have great services in this regard. The role of these scholars in conveying the basic teachings of Islam and the true teachings of Qur'an and Sunnah in a scientific way, at literary and public level, is evident. In the promotion of religious literature, Brahui scholars have written on various topics in Brahui language and numerous books have been published from the earliest times till today. These books include Qur'an, Hadith, basic Islamic teachings and beliefs and the life of the Prophet. This paper is an attempt to highlight the services of Brahui ulema in the dissemination of the message and teachings of Islam.Further, the relevance of this literature in the modern period is discussed.
