Abstract

Jamaat-e-Islami, established in 1941, has developed into a global Islamic movement operating under different names but adhering to a unified ideology, mission, and vision. In Pakistan, numerous scholars, writers, and intellectuals have articulated their devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through literary works, particularly on his Seerah (biography). Writing on the Seerah is widely regarded as both a spiritual blessing and an intellectual contribution, as it strengthens the connection between the Prophet’s exemplary life and contemporary Muslim thought. The purpose of this study is not merely to provide a descriptive account, but to present the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as highlighted by these authors. In doing so, it seeks to build a connection with the intellectual and spiritual contributions of our predecessors, enabling us—whether as readers or as lovers of the Messenger—to benefit from their legacy. Through this effort, the research aims to rekindle an appreciation of the Prophet’s life and character among readers, while also contributing to the broader field of Seerah studies.
