Abstract

The country and nation in which sectarianism thrives/flourish and promotes, it is poisonous killer for that country and nation and its development and stability remains a mere dream. In this society, peace instead of fear, disturbance instead of stability and mutual love is replaced by hate, and eventually the country and nation becomes ancient tales

Pakistan came into being on the basis of an ideology that was based on mutual fraternity, brotherhood, love, tolerance and intellectual differences. As long as board-mindedness and tolerance existed in Pakistan, there was promotion of mutual love. There was peace and tranquility. But when the culture of tolerating disagreement ended, groups started to form on the basis of conflicting views, organizations were formed on the basis of color, race, language, ethnicity, tribe, and started criticizing each other. Then peace and security from this country also fell and the country was destabilized. In this regard, the Council of Islamic Ideology has given several recommendations in its various annual reports that need to be implemented after effective legislation to eliminate sectarianism in Pakistan. The following article reviews the recommendations of the Council of Islamic Ideology that the Council has given to legislative bodies in connection with the abolition of sectarianism.
