مذاہب اربعہ میں داڑھی کی شرعی حیثیت : ایک تحقیقی جائزہ

The beard is an important command in Islam and a requirement of human nature. In all previous divine laws, keeping a beard was mandated, and it remains a Sunnah of all the Prophets (peace be upon them). Just as Allah Almighty has bestowed beauty upon women by granting them hair on their heads, He has also concealed the beauty and elegance of men in their beards.
One evidence of this is that the most beautiful person in humanity was the Prophet Muhammad. After him, the most handsome was Prophet Yusuf (Joseph, peace be upon him), followed by the other Prophets (peace be upon them), who were also among the most beautiful humans. Allah Almighty commanded all of them to grow beards, and their faces were adorned with them. This clearly indicates that the beard is a source of beauty for men, not a cause of unattractiveness (God forbid), contrary to the belief that is gradually taking root among the younger generation today.
Islam is a religion that aligns perfectly with human nature; none of its commandments go against natural instincts. Rather, every directive in Islam fully corresponds to the inherent needs of human nature. The beard is also a natural attribute of men, an essential part of their innate disposition.
