Hadith-e-Saqlain has great importance in Urdu literature of Seerah of Holy Prophet (Peace & blessings of Allah be Upon Him). The majority of Hadith scholars considered it to be Sahih, and some Hadith scholars even considered the Hadith of Al-Thaqalayn to be of tawatur status, because it was narrated from more than fifteen companions of the Messenger of Allah (Peace & blessings of Allah be Upon Him). But Maulana Muhammad Naafey criticized its all texts and main narrators, and tried to give the impression that the narrators are weak and unreliable, although the reality is the opposite. Those narrators are like Atiya bin Saad al-Awfi, Zayd bin Hasan al-Namati, Shareek bin Abdullah al-Nakhee and Abdullah Ibn Uqda kofi are included, if Maulana Naafay had done more research on various texts and narrators, the facts could have been clear to him. At some places and narrations by him, it seems that he tookinto account the bias of the religion and the contemporary perspective which is not like a scholar scientific attitude, but overall, Maulana Muhammad Naafay worked very hard in collecting the material relevant to the Hadith, but if he had investigated it with depth, the facts could have come before him.
