Abstract

Islam respects the dignity and rights of everyone, including non-Muslim minorities, and gives them equal protection under the law in an Islamic state. This research explores the alignment between Pakistan’s constitution and the Islamic framework for minority rights, investigating the protections and responsibilities the state offers. The primary objective of this research is to address misconceptions about minority rights in Pakistan and examine how Islamic teachings and constitutional provisions safeguard these rights. The study also analyzes the practices of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Caliphate to provide historical context for Pakistan’s legal framework.
