Abstract

The industrial revolution transformed society, relying more on machines. However, it also resulted in pollution and climate change, making water contamination and scarcity, Consequently, novel methods for purifying water have been devised. However, these advancements introduce concerns, particularly regarding the consumption and daily application of filtered water.

This paper examines Islamic teachings regarding the utilization of filtered water for drinking, bathing, and washing. We attempt to provide Shariah advise on the use of purified water in line with Islamic principles through a brief assessment.
