In recent years, social media has transformed from a simple medium for communication to a competitive hub for earning and trading in recent years. The internet's progress has reshaped income generation, with platforms offering opportunities for individuals and businesses alike. Yet, the question arises: Is earning through social media permissible in Shariah? Can Muslims use these platforms for income?
This research seeks to assess the compatibility of contemporary social media earning methods with Islamic principles. By exploring Shariah-compliant and prohibited practices, this study aims to provide shariah ruling in light of Islamic Principles about earning via social media platforms by examining practices that are permitted or banned.
