Abstract

The author of the commentary Zia-ul-Quran is Justice Pir Muhammad Karam Shah Al-Azhari.
He is one of the leading religious scholars in Pakistan. He studied in various universities of the United India as well as in three Egyptian universities with different teachers. On his return home, he rendered his religious, academic and social services from various angles, both in Pakistan and international platform. He released the monthly Zia Haram Lahore.He also translated the holy Quran and some Arabic books into Urdu.In addition, write many books, articles and essays.One of his major authors is Tafseer Zia-ul-Quran, which consists of five volumes.
We have reviewed his commentary "Zia-ul-Quran" in his article '' Tafsir Zia-ul-Quran Style, An Analytical Study. '' Here are some features of this commentary and the sources of this commentary are presented. Then we have tried to prove by explaining them in five volumes of their interpretation, that their interpretation, Zia -ul-Quran, is commentary
